The import of 100 MW power from Palatana plant of India’s South Tripura and the export of 10 Gbps internet bandwidth to the neighbouring country are scheduled to begin on March 23.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi will jointly inaugurate the initiative through videoconferencing.
Both the Prime Minister’s offices have drawn up the schedule for the inauguration of the projects through videoconferencing from Dhaka and New Delhi.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar will also join them from Agartala, Indian media outlet The Eastern Today reported from Agartala.
