The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is quizing Moosa bin Shamsher alias Prince Moosa, an international weapons trader and chairman of Datco Group.
As a part of its investigation, the ACC is quizzing him in connection with shopioning Tk 51000 crore and amassing illegal wealth.
CC Deputy Director Mir Mohammad Joynul Abedin Shibly began interrogation at 10.00am at the ACC headquarters at Segunbagicha in the city on Thuraday.
Earlier on December 4, the ACC has summoned Prince Moosa to appear before ACC today (Thursday, December 18).
According to sources, a report was published in Business Asia on Moosa bin Shamsher in June this year. It said he has $7 billion in a Swiss Bank.
Shamsher was born in Faridpur district on Oct 15, 1950. He started his business career as a manpower exporter but international media usually portray him as an arms dealer.
He attracted huge media attention after offering the Labour Party and Tony Blair 5 million pounds as campaign donation during UK’s 1997 general elections.
