Japan embassy is going to bring one of its finest musical pairs to enthral Dhaka audience on Thursday and Friday.
‘AKI & KUNIKO’, formed in 2002, blend the notes from their two unmatched string instruments, acoustic guitar and Japan’s national instrument koto.
Aki, Hiroaki Sasaki, is particularly known for his creation of new works with acoustic guitar and his collaboration with different genres of musicians in Japan and abroad.

Japan embassy says Kuniko, Kuniko Obina, is “one of the most sought after koto players of our time”.
The duo would play on Thursday at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and on Friday at National Museum auditorium at Shahbagh beginning from 6.30pm.
Entry is free, the embassy said in a media release.
