President Abdul Hamid left Dhaka for London today for eye treatment and health checkup.

A regular flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:00am.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon, State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam, the dean of diplomatic corps, the chiefs of the three services and high civil and military officers saw him off at the airport.

The president is likely to return on March 7 after completing his health checkup and eye treatment.
