Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today directed the Housing and Public Works Ministry officials to construct two lakes in the city’s Kuril Flyover area defying any pressure from all quarters.
“There’s no scope for any compromise here,” she said.
The Prime Minister came up with the directive while delivering her introductory speech at Housing and Public Works Ministry. She had been at the ministry as part of her visit to all ministries to see the progress and development of their activities.
Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain was present at the meeting along with his ministry’s senior officials.
Hasina said two lakes are supposed to be constructed in the Kuril Flyover area as per the original plan.
