The country will observe the day with due solemnity and remember those who laid down their lives to liberate the country. Elaborate programmes have been chalked out to mark the day. The day will commence with a 31-gun salute and includes raising the national flag on top of all national institutions and wreaths giving at the National Memorial Monument at Savar. Besides, special prayers will be held across the country for the salvation of the souls of the martyrs of the Liberation War.The wreaths giving ceremony will start at 6:34 am at the National Memorial Monument at Savar and will continue throughout the day, according to a news agency.
