Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Wednesday said that it has found involvement of its men in the sensational Narayanganj seven-murder incident.
The final probe report over Narayanganj seven murders case was submitted to the High Court.
Attorney General Mahbube Alam submitted the prove report to the to the HC bench of Justice Md Rezaul Haque and Justice Gobinda Chanra Tagore on Wednesday.
Earlier on November 23, Additional Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of RAB Aftab Uddin submitted the probe report to the office of Attorney General.
The report said that RAB personnel were involved in the Narayanganj seven-murder, among whom are ex-commanding officer Tareque Sayeed and Maj Arif Hossain.
Narayanganj City Corporation Panel Mayor Nazrul Islam, his three aides and driver and senior lawyer Chandan Sarkar and his driver were kidnapped from the Dhaka-Narayanganj link road on April 27. Three days later, six bodies were found floating in the Shitalakkhya. The other body was recovered from the river on the following day.- risingbd
