Condemning the US’s criticism over country’s war crimes trial processes, National Human Rights Commission Chairman Dr Mizanur Rahman on Tuesday questioned, “It should be brought under consideration that how we can accept their criticism.”
Dr Mizanur Rahman said this while addressing a round-table discussion programme in the VIP lounge of the National Press Club, in the capital.
NHRC boss also said, “US is killing mass people across the world including children but they have no reaction over this kind of human rights issues.”
Advocate Rana Das Gupta, Advocate Jahangir Alam Khan and Professor Durga Das were also present, among others, at the programme.
